My BFA thesis in 2020 was about exploration in color and pattern on slipcasted ceramic forms. I decorated pieces while taking into account elements like color, contrast, balance, and flow within the ceramic surface. These works were about an inner joy I feel and representing that joy as a piece decorated with freedom, excitement, color, and pattern. I wanted the pieces to feel like an explosion of inner joy.
